Qualcomm Atheros AR5BWB222 Wireless Network Adapter Hopefully someone can make sense of this because I'm completely lost. I have no idea what could be causing this or if it's the problem, but it doesn't seem to happen when I sit close to the router and connect so I feel it has something to do with my issues.
The weirdest thing is that if I open device manager while I try to connect I can see the adapter resetting itself at the point it should be connecting. It's not even that it can no longer see the network at all, it just won't connect to it (giving me a generic "there was a problem connecting to this network" message). I've tried everything I've found suggested to fix it (removing the network, uninstalling/updating the driver, rebooting, resetting my router and its settings, etc) and none of it has helped. Nothing has changed with the computer or the network, nor anything moved in the house it simply stopped working one day and I can't figure out what caused it. Basically, as of a month or so ago the internal wireless network adapter in my laptop is now refusing to connect to my network if I'm more than 10ft away (or there abouts). I'm going crazy trying to fix this and all my googling has gotten me nowhere, so I'm asking here in the hopes someone can give me some help or tell me if it's hopeless so I'll stop trying.
